Massachusetts Minute Men 1861 Medal: Mint example of a very desirable Civil War Medal. In as nice a condition as you will ever find. (SOLD)
MINT Cased & Boxed Colorado Spanish American War Medal: Outstanding State of Colorado SpanAm Service Medal, Officially Named in the Original Case and Outside Shipping Box. Period Hand Engraved to "William H. Bell" / "Wagon" (for Wagoneer), and in the custom fitted black leatherette covered Original Case by Joslin & Park in Denver Colorado. All this sits in the Original Card Stock Mailer from the Adjutant General of the State of Colorado, with Bell's Name and Rank clearly hand written in ink, with the number "379" at top. (Mailer is Complete and Solid, but does have some storage wear and typical signs of age.) Medal is in Absolutely MINT Original Condition. Nearly impossible to upgrade this one... Worthy of National Archives Research, as there is a high probability his service records can be found. (SOLD) Nice Spanish American War USWV/Doc. Set: Discharge Document and United Spanish War Veterans Medal ("B 7883", EF+ Condition w/Matching Lapel Button) to Private Edward N. Miller, Company I, 2nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry. Document is sound overall, but is separating on lower 1/3 crease. (SOLD) USWV Mini: Nice Early United Spanish-American War Veteran's Membership Medal Spanish American War Service Medal from the State of New York: Second Version / Strike of this N.Y. SpanAm service medal. Edge numbered 10551, with the second style drape. Missing brooch, but excellent condition overall. (SOLD)
China Relief Expedition Imperial Order of the Dragon Membership Medal: Attributed, and All Original, CRE Military Society Membership Badge. Numbered "145". (SOLD) Early Named & Numbered 7th N.Y.N.G. medal by Tiffany & Co.: Corporal Rudolph G. Neidlinger, Co. C. (SOLD) 1913 Illinois State Rifle Association Medal: Named (Hand Engraved) to Major Edgar B. Tolman. Maj. Tolman was with the HQ Company 1st Illinois Infantry during the Spanish American War, and was issued both the Army Spanish Campaign and Cuban Occupation Medals. He was a prominent attorney in Chicago, and active with the Illinois State Bar. Hallmarked "Sterling / Dieges & Clust / 10 E Randolph / Chicago". (SOLD)

WWI Boxed Set of Railway Veteran Medals: Nice Original Pennsylvania Railroad Company Medallion / Watch Fob, Hand Engraved to "W.J. Ponder", in the box of issue. Second Medal is from the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainman, also Hand Engraved to "W.J. Ponder" on the Top Bar, Numbered on the Back of Brooch "6370", with same name Inked on the top of Box Lid. The P.R.R. Award comes with a period Transmittal / Award Document, dated May 30, 1920 with a nice Color Litho image of the award and an explanation of the significance as a token of Honor and Thanks for their Federal Military Service. These were issued to employees of the Rail System and Brotherhood who served during World War One. All Original Components in Excellent to Near-Mint Condition, with some storage wear, age, and oxidation to medals and issue boxes. Both Boxes are in Excellent Sound Condition, with typical corner splits to the PRR medal's box and a later tape repair. The Document includes the Mailing Envelope addressed to same name as being with Columbus Division (Assuming OH.). A Very Nice Period Corporate Rail Way Road Pair. (SOLD) WWI Boxed UDC Cross of Service: Nice Original United Daughters of the Confederacy World War One Cross of Service, Numbered "9594", with Seahorse Device for Overseas Service. Medal is Hallmarked "Medallic Art Co. New York" in the Original Box, with the insert note describing the meaning of the design of medal. All Original Components in Mint Condition, with some storage wear and age to a solid issue box. (SOLD) WWI Era Society of the 1st Division Medal: Original issued example of the medal issued to members of the Society of the First Division, as A.E.F. World War Veterans. This medal was produced by Bailey, Banks, and Biddle (BB&B) around the time of the dedication of the 1st Division Monument in Washington DC, a couple of years after the close of the First World War. Excellent Condition, with minor signs of age and and a touch of wear to the ribbon. (SOLD) WWI Era American Field Service Medal: Original issued example of the medal awarded to AFS Members by the French Government shortly after the close of the First World War. Shows signs of age and wear, but solid. (SOLD) WWI Era 33rd Division Veteran's Medal: Original issued example of the medal awarded by the 33rd Division War Veteran's Association. Official Hand Engraved to "Corp. Will C. Litson / Co E. 131st Inf". Shows minor signs of age and use, but in Excellent condition. (In Research) WWI Era Melrose Park, IL Medal: Original issued example of the medal awarded by the Village of Melrose Park, Cook County, Illinois, to its veterans of World War One. Early 14K Gold NRA Shooting Medal (1): Clean example of a 1922 U.S. National Rifle Association Shooting Match Medal. "Small Bore Rifle Match" with a matching "Small Bore" Bar marked "10K" Gold. Re-ribboned with Original Brooch (Marked "14K"), Suspension Ring, and Pendant (Also marked "14K GOLD"). All original components in MINT Condition. Early 14K Gold NRA Shooting Medal (2): Clean example of a 1922 U.S. National Rifle Association Shooting Match Medal. "Individual Rifle Match" with a matching "Re-Entry" Bar marked "10K" Gold. Re-ribboned with Original Brooch (Marked 14K), Suspension Ring, and Pendant (Also marked "14K GOLD"). The brooch is missing the rotator on the catch, but otherwise all original components are in MINT Condition. Early 14K Gold NRA Shooting Medal (3): Essentially the same as the above two with the following planchet and bar differences. Clean 1922 Dated U.S. National Rifle Association Shooting Match Medal. "President's Rifle Match" with a matching "Presidents" Bar marked "10K" Gold. Re-ribboned with Original Brooch (Marked 14K), Suspension Ring, and Pendant (Also marked "14K GOLD"). All original components are in MINT Condition. Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award Medal: Named Early issue of the Good Citizenship Award, Officially Hand Engraved to "A.H. Lee." that appears to be pre-WWII era, possibly from the 1920's-30's. Medal is hallmarked on the edge of planchet, “Medallic Art Co. N.Y.” All Original components, with open-hook split wrap brooch, in outstanding original condition. ($30)
WWII Era Society of the Sons of the American Revolution Medal: Original issued example of this medal awarded to, and Officially hand engraved to "J.H. Kitch" for his service during World War Two. Overall condition is excellent with some light oxidation to the planchet, but retaining and original components. (SOLD) Early USMC Marine Corps League Medal: Nice example of an earlier version of the Marine Corps League Medal, most likely made Pre-WWII. High quality enameled pinback Top Bar, and marked with a typically English three cartouche hallmark and "STERLING". I'd assume the Single Star on the shoulder board design would signify a post or regional commander for the league. Most likely an early replacement drape, but all else complete and in Excellent Condition. (SOLD)
