Cased Vietnam Era Air Force Cross: Original 1st Strike 1964 HLP Contract Air Force Cross, with Oak Leaf Cluster for Second Award.  Properly Hallmarked Cross "H.L.P." on edge of arm, on UnMarked Crimp Brooch.  Cased Complete in Period Clear Lid/Blue Base Presentation Case, with Matching RB w/OLC and LP.  Excellent to Near-Mint Condition, with only hints of age and light use.  The nicest strike of this medal you can get. WWII BB&B Legion of Merit-Chief Commander Grade: Bailey Banks, and Biddle "STERLING" Hallmarked Breast Badge. This is an EXTREMELY RARE variation of a truly beautiful medal.  This example has had the pin and hinge replaced, but an otherwise extraordinary example.  The catch is original, as well as ALL the other medal components.  The enamels are outstanding, with no damage, while the patches in image are solely due to light reflection. WWII/Korea/Vietnam Cased Army-Air Force Distinguished Flying Cross:  Unnumbered strike, on a slot brooch, in a WWII Period Black Titled Case, Complete with RB/LP and Original tissue wrapping.  This comes from late WWII manufactured stock that was used into early Vietnam era by the Quartermaster for Official Issue.  MINT Condition. (SOLD)

Earlier Strike of USCG Coast Guard Medal:  Nice clean strike, on an UnMarked crimp brooch.  Near-Mint condition, with some minor oxidation and storage marks.  This has a Gilded Matte finish with burnished highlights.  The USCG equivalent of the Army's Soldier's Medal/USN-USMC Navy & MC Medal/or Air force Airman's Medal for Non-Combat Heroism, and a tough medal to find.

Named & Cased WWII Navy Commendation Medal:  Nice Clean 1st Strike, on original Slot in Crimp Brooch.  Officially Machine Engraved to "Blake C. / Howard, Jr. ".  Mint condition, in Clear Lid/Blue Lined Issue Case from when the Commendation Medals for all branches were first manufactured and issued in the early 1950's.  Apparently Howard was also issued a Russian Decoration for an action where his ship was sunk on a Murmansk run. (Currently in Research)
